The Founder
Olivia Onuk is a interdisciplinary Artist and community organizer using art as a means to explore the depths of human experience. Olivia’s work is rooted in the truth of Art as Therapy, as a tool for connection, wellbeing, and making sense of trauma. Olivia is passionate about the human desire to create and channels her expressive energy through poetry, short stories, photography, traditional and digital painting, printmaking, drumming, dancing, and more recently, media arts.Through her work, she seeks to connect with diverse audiences and encourage them to connect further with themselves and one another.
With a background in family violence & conflict resolution, and over 12 years of experience in event coordination, curation, and consultation, Olivia provides support to, facilitates arts-based wellness workshops and manages programs/projects for individuals and organizations. Olivia is also the current and inaugural Artist in Residence in Government for the City of Ottawa. Olivia’s practice continues to expand as she does.
